Two theatres by the harbour, one in St. Pauli

The three shows play in three Stage Entertainment theatres. Disney's The Lion King and MJ - Das Michael Jackson Musical run side by side at the Stage Theater im Hafen and the Stage Theater an der Elbe, opposite the Landungsbrücken piers on the other side of the Elbe. Back to the Future plays at the Stage Operettenhaus on Spielbudenplatz in St. Pauli, until February 2027. The Lion King and Back to the Future are sung in German, MJ's songs in the original English.

By shuttle boat across the Elbe

For the two harbour theatres, take the S-Bahn S1 or S3 or the U-Bahn U3 to Landungsbrücken. From pier 1 (Brücke 1), the free musical shuttle boat takes you across the river in a few minutes. It runs from 90 minutes before until one hour after the performance, and the crossing is included with your ticket.

To the Operettenhaus in St. Pauli

For the Stage Operettenhaus, take the S-Bahn S1 or S3 to Reeperbahn or the U-Bahn U3 to St. Pauli. Buses 112, 16 and 17 also stop at St. Pauli.

By car

All three theatres can be reached via the A7 or A1 motorway. For the harbour theatres there is a car park at Rohrweg 13. For the Operettenhaus, use the multi-storey car parks nearby, for example at Millerntor and Heiligengeistfeld.

Doors and security check

At all three theatres, doors open 90 minutes before the start. There is a security check at the entrance: large bags, suitcases, backpacks, laptops and professional cameras are not allowed, and bags are also checked for food and drink. You find out the cast for the evening at the theatre on the day. Your voucher arrives by email and you do not need to print it; bring a valid photo ID.

With children

Stage Entertainment recommends The Lion King and Back to the Future from age 6 and MJ from age 8. Children under 4 are not admitted to Back to the Future, and under-16s only with an adult. The Theater im Hafen has free booster seats for children.

Official box office

Stage Entertainment, which runs all three theatres, has the official box office. There you buy tickets directly from the producer.
