Getting there by shuttle boat
The Stage Theater im Hafen stands opposite the Landungsbrücken piers on the other side of the Elbe, at Rohrweg 13, 20457 Hamburg. Take the S-Bahn S1 or S3 or the U-Bahn U3 to Landungsbrücken. From pier 1 (Brücke 1), the free musical shuttle boat takes you across the river in a few minutes. It runs from 90 minutes before until one hour after the performance, and the crossing is included with your ticket. If you drive, come via the A7 or A1 motorway; the theatre has its own car park.

Doors and the evening
Doors open 90 minutes before the start. There is a security check at the entrance: large bags, suitcases, backpacks, laptops and professional cameras are not allowed, and bags are also checked for food and drink. The performance lasts about 2 hours 50 minutes including an interval and is sung in German. You find out who is on stage that night at the theatre on the day. Smart casual clothes are the right choice.
With children
Stage Entertainment recommends the show from age 6. The theatre has free booster seats for children. At almost three hours including the interval, it is a long evening; allow time for the shuttle crossing as well.
