MJ - Das Michael Jackson Musical tickets

Getting there by shuttle boat

The Stage Theater an der Elbe stands opposite the Landungsbrücken piers on the other side of the Elbe, at Norderelbstraße 8, 20457 Hamburg. Take the S-Bahn S1 or S3 or the U-Bahn U3 to Landungsbrücken. From pier 1 (Brücke 1), the free musical shuttle boat takes you across the river in a few minutes. It runs from 90 minutes before until one hour after the performance, and the crossing is included with your ticket. If you drive, come via the A7 or A1 motorway; parking is at Rohrweg 13.

Right next door, Disney's The Lion King plays at the Stage Theater im Hafen, served by the same shuttle.

Doors and the evening

Doors open 90 minutes before the start. There is a security check at the entrance: large bags, suitcases, backpacks, laptops and professional cameras are not allowed, and bags are also checked for food and drink. The performance lasts about 2 hours 50 minutes including an interval. You find out who is on stage that night at the theatre on the day. The Musical-Boulevard foyer inside the theatre is cashless.

Who the show suits

Stage Entertainment recommends MJ from age 8. The show uses strobe and flash effects; if you are sensitive to them, bear that in mind. The songs are sung in the original English.

Vouchers and cancellation

After booking, your voucher arrives by email; you do not need to print it. Bring a valid photo ID. The tickets cannot be cancelled or changed, so check the date, time and seats before you pay. Directions to all three theatres are under Plan your visit.

Official box office

Stage Entertainment, which runs the theatre, has the official box office. There you buy tickets directly from the producer.
